Perry – Mass of Christian Burial for Helen Katherine Lines, 81, rural Perry, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Theresa Church in Perry. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Newman.Mrs. Lines died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.She was born March 21, 1926, in Lawrence, the daughter of William Eugene and Lydia Katherine Stehwien Gantz.She graduated from Perry Rural High School in 1943. She was a lifelong resident of the Perry area.Mrs. Lines was a homemaker and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry.She married Joseph T. Quinlan on Sept. 29, 1945. He died Dec. 16, 1967. She married David McCord Lines on Feb. 14, 1975, in Topeka. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a daughter, Patsy Morse, Perry; a stepson, Dennis Lines, Topeka; two sisters, Wilma Hart, Topeka, and Elaine Worthington, Perry; a grandson, Richard Parnell; a great-granddaughter, Alex Parnell; and two stepdaughters, Nancy and Dawn Marie Lines, both of Topeka.Mrs. Lines was preceded in death by a son, Jody Quinlan; a daughter, Nancy Quinlan; and a granddaughter, Denise Ann Parnell; and a sister, Loraine Coon. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church before the Mass.The family suggests memorials to Heartland Hospice or St. Theresa’s Church, sent in care of Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O.
