Services for Maurice Eugene Lewis, 56, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Christian Church in Lawrence. Cremation is planned with inurnment pending.Mr. Lewis died Friday, April 20, 2007, at a Kansas City medical facility.He was born Oct. 4, 1950, in Lawrence, the son of Harold and Bernice Lewis.Mr. Lewis worked for the city of Lawrence Street Department.Survivors include a brother, Dwane Francis Lewis Sr., Lawrence; and a sister, Glenda M. Lewis, Lawrence.
