Delene Turner 1949 - 2007 Ottawa
Graveside services for Delene Turner, 57, Ottawa, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hope Cemetery in Ottawa.Miss Turner died Friday, April 20, 2007, at her home.She was born Dec. 11, 1949, in Ottawa, the daughter of Orville D. and Gloria Darlene West Jones. She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1967. She lived in Topeka for 15 years and returned to Ottawa in November 2006.Miss Turner worked for Honeywell for 30 years in Lawrence and in Olathe as a production technician. She was a member of Lakeview Church of the Nazarene in Topeka.Survivors include her parents, Ottawa; a son, Roger Cannady Jr. and wife Terri, Krum, Texas; two daughters, Pepper Hamilton, Ottawa, and Debbie Swenson and husband Tim, Alma; a sister, Jean Sims, Olathe; and 10 grandchildren, Spencer, Paige, Sydney, Karlee, Blake, Roger, Alex, Perry, Destiny and Precious.Friends may call after 1 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa, where the family will receive them at 10 a.m. Monday.The family suggests memorials to Franklin County Cancer Foundation, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S.
