Douglas Luther Miller 1948 - 2007 Lawrence
Memorial services for Douglas Luther Miller, 58, Lawrence, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence. Mr. Miller died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at his home.He was born May 20, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Clark Allen and Maxine Lucille Luther Miller. He graduated from Dodge City High School. He moved to Lawrence in 1965 and received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Kansas University.Mr. Miller worked for the Lawrence Fire Department for many years and later for the KU computer center until he retired in 2003. He then formed his own company, Dataform, and was a computer programmer.He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Lawrence Coalition for Peace and Justice.He married Patricia Ann Roper McDonald on Nov. 1, 1975, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
