Bessie Virginia Redburn 1915 - 2007 El Dorado
El Dorado - A celebration of life for Bessie Virginia Redburn, 92, El Dorado, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado.Mrs. Redburn died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Lakepoint Care Center in El Dorado.She was born Jan. 12, 1915, in El Dorado, the daughter of Alvin and Bertha Blye Hetrick. She grew up and attended schools in El Dorado.Mrs. Redburn worked for 17 years as a housekeeper at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado. She married Perry Redburn on Feb. 21, 1941, in Nevada, Mo. He died Aug. 31, 1991.Mrs. Redburn also was preceded in death by a grandchild.Survivors include five sons, Perry Alvin Redburn, Wichita, James Ray Redburn, Liberal, Larry Wayne Redburn, De Soto, and Glen Edward Redburn and Joe Dewayne Redburn, both of El Dorado; and two daughters, Virginia Riley and Laura Jayne Ehrlich, both of El Dorado. The family suggests memorials to the Diabetes Foundation, sent in care of Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado.
