Hazel Estelle Hiner Ravan 1917 - 2006 Lawrence
Services for Hazel Estelle Hiner Ravan, 89, Lawrence, will be at a later date. Private graveside services were Wednesday in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Mo.Mrs. Ravan died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born June 19, 1917, in Griggs, Okla., the daughter of Robert Blane and Mary Alice Eslinger Blancett. She lived in Chicago; Lenexa; Pittsburg, Texas; and at Vermont Towers in Lawrence.Mrs. Ravan and her husband, Norville, were farmers. She was an active member of First Southern Baptist Church.She married Norville Hiner in November 1936. She married James Ravan. He died in 1987.Survivors include three sons, Norville Ray Hiner Jr., Lawrence, Ronald Robert Hiner, Canyon, Texas, and Donald Calvin Hiner, Broken Arrow, Okla.; a daughter, Loretta Faye Arthaud, Keyes, Okla.; a sister, Lorene Strain, Adrian, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to Trinity In-Home Health Care or LEO Center, sent in care of Atkinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 325, Adrian, MO 64720.
