Charles Link 1991 - 2006
Services for Charles "Charlie" Link, 15, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence. Cremation is planned.Mr. Link died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at his home after a long battle with respiratory illness and cerebral palsy.He was born March 11, 1991, in Lawrence, the son of Richard and Tira Kay Beer Link. He was a student at Southwest Junior High, where he was on the honor roll.Survivors include his father, Baldwin; his mother, Lawrence; a sister, Sara Jane Elizabeth Randolph, Lenexa; and a brother, Guy M., of the home.A sister, Katherine Mackenzie Link, died on Sept. 9, 1993. The family will receive friends following the service.The family suggests memorials to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn., sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
