Maurine Helen Ingalls

Services for Maurine Helen Ingalls, 95, Lenexa, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ingalls died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.She was born Jan. 15, 1911, in Douglas County, the daughter of Elmer and Mae Stanwix. She moved to Kansas City in 1965 from Lawrence.Mrs. Ingalls owned Hilltop House Antique Shop in Lawrence for many years. She was baptized at the United Brethren Church in Douglas County and was a former member of Plymouth Congregational Church.She married John A. Ingalls on Aug. 3, 1931, in WaKeeney. He died Feb. 1, 1994. Survivors include a son, Jon C. Ingalls, and wife Linda; a granddaughter, Lisa Connell, and husband John; three sisters, Dorothy Calhoun, Shawnee, Janette Prince, Lawrence, and Jean Tipton and husband Ed of Longmont, Colo.; a grandson, Jon Ingalls, and wife Kim; four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Jeremy and Jack; three nieces, Cindy Eller, Lawrence, Sari Sackrider and husband Greg, Wilmette, Ill., and Jane Tipton, Denver; a nephew, Mike Tipton, and wife Belinda, Lewellen, Neb.; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
