Terry Alan Feurt 1953 - 2006 Lawrence
Services for Terry Alan Feurt, 53, Lawrence, will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Temple Assembly of God. He was cremated. Mr. Feurt died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at his home.He was born April 6, 1953, in Hastings, Neb., the son of William Mack and Joyce Jeanine Pedersen Feurt.Mr. Feurt served in the U.S. Air Force as a security guard during the Vietnam War. From 1972 to 1976, he helped bring back Vietnamese refugees. He then worked at Hastings Senior High School for 27 years as night and head custodian. He moved to Lawrence in 2005.Survivors include a brother, James Lee Feurt, Lawrence; and a sister, Joyce L. Lassen, Elba, Neb.The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Assn., sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
