Keith Wiley

Services for Keith Wiley, 82, Lyndon, will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon. Burial will be in Vassar Cemetery.Mr. Wiley died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at his home.He was born May 31, 1924, in Leoti, the son of George and Eva Woodbury Wiley. He lived in the Lyndon area since 1956.Mr. Wiley served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He worked as a paint foreman with A.T.S.F. Railroad until he retired.He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Post No. 125, all in Lyndon.He married Ruby Weiss on May 1, 1949, in Vassar. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include three sons, Dennis, Emporia, Robert, Ottawa, and David, Lyndon; a daughter, Janet Bates, Lawrence; four brothers, Ray, Lyndon, Rlyn, Osage City, Russ, Monterey, Calif., and Cloyce, Raymore, Mo.; two sisters, Carol Laue and Grace Jordan, both of Lyndon; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.The family suggests memorials to Lyndon American Legion Post No. 125, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
