Alice Aurelia Favreau 1932 - 2006 Lawrence
Memorial services for Alice Aurelia Favreau, 74, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lawrence Funeral Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.Ms. Favreau died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.She was born Jan. 17, 1932, in Gouverneur Village, N.Y., the daughter of Joseph Ernest and Aurelia Emily Velten Dusharm. She graduated from Vineland High School in Vineland, N.J. She moved from Austin, Texas, to Lawrence three years ago.Ms. Favreau served in the Women's Army Corps from Feb. 12, 1951, to Sept. 18, 1952, during the Korean War. She was stationed at the Chicago Quartermaster Depot in the purchasing department. She worked as a group clerk for the Internal Revenue Service in Atlantic City, N.J., for 12 years.Survivors include a daughter, Michele Armstrong and husband Jay, Lawrence; and a granddaughter, Ashleigh Aurelia Armstrong.
