Alma M. Lemmon 1919 - 2006 Lawrence
Services for Alma M. Lemmon, 87, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Park Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.Mrs. Lemmon died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at Hillside Village in De Soto. She was born Aug. 21, 1919, in Bremen.Mrs. Lemmon was active in her church and taught Sunday school classes for many years. She helped raise her grandchildren in her son's home since 1988.She married Arvel Lonzo "Lonnie" Lemmon in 1982. He died earlier.She also was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Klataske, and three brothers, Ivan, Jake and Warren Keller.Survivors include two sons, Charles W. Lemmon, Overland Park, and David A. Lemmon, Lawrence; two sisters, Margaret Kostal, Odell, Neb., and Lillian Loth, Beatrice, Neb.; and two brothers, Vincent Keller, Beatrice, and Walter Keller, Border, Texas.Friends may call from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
