Graveside services for Lawrence James "Larry" Denton, 52, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery.Mr. Denton died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.He was born July 13, 1954, in Lawrence, the son of Norman Clyde and Rose Finger Denton.He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1972. He worked for Lawrence Paper Co. and was self-employed with Rental Maintenance.He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Douglas County Fireworks Assn. and Meadowlark 4-H Club.Survivors include two sisters, Norma Jantz, Topeka; and Jeanette Denton, Lawrence.Family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.The family suggests memorials in his name to a charity of the donor's choice, sent in care of the mortuary.Online condolences may be sent to <a href="http://www.warrenmcelwain.com">www.warrenmcelwain.com</a>, subject: Denton.
