Barbara Jean Moore 1925 - 2006 Lawrence
Barbara Jean Moore, 81, Lawrence, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at Timberlake Care Center in Kansas City, Mo., after an extended illness. She was cremated. She was born Jan. 24, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Victor Earl and Elizabeth Lucille Chambers Dorner. Mrs. Moore lived in Lawrence for more than 50 years.Mrs. Moore retired from Lawrence National Bank.Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Ellsworth, St. Joseph, Mo., and Pam Moore, Kansas City, Mo.; a son-in-law, Dennis Ellsworth, St. Joseph, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Melody Ellsworth.The family suggests memorials of acts of kindness or donations to the Lawrence Humane Society, 1805 E. 19th St., Lawrence 66044.
