Ronald Gene Moore Sr. 1935 - 2006 Mitchell, Neb.
Services for Ronald Gene Moore Sr., 71, of the Dripping Springs Community near Monterey, Tenn., will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 24 at Mitchell Berean New Worship Center in Mitchell.Mr. Moore died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at his home.He was born Feb. 25, 1935, in Perrysburg, Ohio, the son of James and Grace Schmeltz Moore.Mr. Moore taught high school math in Ohio, Kansas and Wyoming from 1962 until he retired in 1998. He was a high school basketball coach and coached two Wyoming state boys' basketball championship teams. He was a member of Dripping Springs Independent Missionary Baptist Church.He married Miriam Wight Moore on Oct. 18, 1954. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include three sons, Michael, Torrington, Wyo., Ronald Jr., Chadron, Neb., and James, Lawrence, Kan.; two daughters, Marcia Roth, Wichita, Kan., and Michelle Dunkel, Scottsbluff, Neb.; a sister, Janice Johns, Millbury, Ohio; and 13 grandchildren.The family will receive friends following the services at Mitchell Berean New Worship Center.The family suggests memorials to the Ronald G. Moore Sr. Youth Sports Memorial Fund, sent in care of First State Bank, P.O. Box 1098 Torrington, WY 82240.
