Jerry Winfrey 1946 - 2006 Keller, Texas
Services for Jerry Winfrey, 60, Keller, Texas, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Alpine Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas.Mr. Winfrey died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006.He was born May 25, 1946, the son of Thomas and Dorothy Winfrey. He lived in Lawrence, Kan., for 24 years and moved to Texas in 1994.Mr. Winfrey worked in the maintenance field for 30 years and retired in 2003.Survivors include his wife, Doris, Keller, Texas; two daughters, Amy McCoy, Forney, Texas, and Jeri Winfrey, Dallas; two brothers, Delty, Liberty, Mo., and Charles, Columbia, Mo.; a sister, Myrtle Chipley, Columbia, Mo.; and three grandchildren.The family requests memorials to Community Hospice of Texas or Cancer Care Services, sent in care of the funeral home, 2300 N. Sylvania, Fort Worth, TX 76111.
