Lloyd Clayton Miller

Graveside services for Lloyd Clayton Miller, 75, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery.Mr. Miller died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, in Topeka. He was born July 3, 1931, in Lawrence, the son of W.L. and Effie Fetty Miller. He attended Lawrence schools.Mr. Miller served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter for new homes and remodeling. He was co-owner of Lloyd’s Place bar in North Lawrence. He also worked for the City of Lawrence until he retired. He enjoyed country music and was an avid dancer.He married Elsie Clark Miller on April 9, 1960, in Lawrence. She died July 30, 1999.Survivors include two daughters, Robin L. Harmon and Pamela J. Miller, both of Lawrence; three sons, Richard A. Miller, Roger A. Miller and L. Clay Miller, II, all of Lawrence; a brother, Robert, Lawrence; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.The family suggests memorials to the Lloyd C.
