Nancy E. Wagstaff 1928 - 2006 Overland Park
Services for Nancy E. Wagstaff, 78, Garland, Texas, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Colonial Presbyterian Church in Overland Park. Private burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence. Mrs. Wagstaff died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006s.She was born Sept. 30, 1928, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Ralph and Charlotte Van Bebber. She grew up in Troy and Lawrence. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Mrs. Wagstaff was a teacher and later taught disabled children. She also worked for the Kansas Legislature in Topeka.She married Charles G. Wagstaff on Sept. 23, 1950, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include three sons, Chuck Jr., Richardson, Texas, Tim and wife Tami, Overland Park, and Tom and wife Cindy, Castle Rock, Colo.; a brother, Fred Van Bebber and wife Harriet, Wichita; four grandchildren, Suzie, Tyler, Taylor and Reed Wagstaff; and many nieces and nephews.The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.warrenmcelwain.com">www.warrenmcelwain</a>, subject: Wagstaff.
