Patricia "Trish" Frickey Schendel 1959 - 2006 Olathe
Services for Patricia "Trish" Frickey Schendel, 47, Olathe, will be at 1 p.m. today at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel in De Soto.Mrs. Schendel died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at her home.She was born Sept. 22, 1959, in Topeka, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Frickey. She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City.Mrs. Schendel worked as a medical assistant for a podiatrist and for Olathe Medical Center as a central service technician before she became a supervisor. She was later a secretary for B and T Drywall, her and her husband's home-based business.She married Bryan Schendel on Oct. 10, 1999. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include her father, Shawnee; two brothers, Mike Frickey, Shawnee, and Jim Frickey, De Soto; a sister, Nancy Lindbloom, De Soto; and her grandmother, Nancy Frickey, De Soto.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor's choice, sent in care of the chapel, P.O. Box 101, De Soto 66018.
