Hazel M. Pederson Bones 1913 - 2006 Ottawa
Services for Hazel M. Pederson Bones, 92, Ottawa, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Ottawa. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.Mrs. Bones died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.She was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Ottawa, the daughter of Gilbert and Jennie Shaw Pederson. She grew up and attended school in the Princeton area and graduated from Princeton High School in 1931.Mrs. Bones was a homemaker. She was also a secretary and bookkeeper for her family's business. She was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church in Ottawa. She was also a member of United Methodist Women.She married Dale F. Bones on June 28, 1931, in Leoti. He died May 5, 1993.A daughter, Lois Frank, also died earlier.Survivors include a son, Dale E. Bones, Princeton; a daughter, Evelyn "June" Gaddis, Bazine; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa.The family suggests memorials to Princeton United Methodist Church or First United Methodist Church in Ottawa, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
