Mary "Cookie" Rhoads 1951 - 2006 Lawrence
A gathering of family and friends for Mary "Cookie" Rhoads, 55, Lawrence, will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the home of Janice Merz, 401 Sarasota Court, in Pratt.Mrs. Rhoads died Saturday, May 6, 2006, in Kansas City, Kan.She was born March 13, 1951, in Goodland, the daughter of Charles and Maxine Wilkinson. She graduated from Goodland High School in 1969 and received a degree in speech pathology from Kansas University in 1979. She lived in Lawrence for the past four years.Survivors include her husband, Mark Rhoads; a son, Nathan; a daughter, Meagan; and four sisters, Janice, Linda, Carolea and Charlene.
