Louise Campbell Ramshaw

Services for Louise Campbell Ramshaw, 90, Ottawa, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona.Mrs. Ramshaw died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Ottawa Village Manor.She was born Dec. 10, 1915, in Michigan Valley, the daughter of Frank and Helen Cearfoss Campbell. She attended Michigan Valley Elementary School and graduated from Michigan Valley High School in 1934.Mrs. Ramshaw and her husband farmed in the Michigan Valley community for more than 40 years. She was a homemaker and worked at Green Acres and Hedgewood restaurants from 1971 to 1977. She enjoyed reading, gardening, tending to her flowers and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She moved to Ottawa Retirement Village on March 27, 1988. She married Jay Ramshaw on April 22, 1936, in Ottawa. He died Sept. 6, 1991.Mrs. Ramshaw’s parents died earlier, and two sisters, Opal Pahlman and Vera Walburn, also died earlier.Survivors include two sons, Bill Ramshaw and his wife, Dorothy, Sedan, and Bob Ramshaw and his wife, Jane, Williamsburg; a daughter, Shirley Adams and her husband, Donald, Whiting, Iowa; two brothers, Junior Campbell, Pomona, and Charles Campbell, Topeka; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa.The family suggests memorials to Michigan Valley United Methodist Church, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
