Catherine Mary Curtis 1913 - 2006 Tonganoxie
Services for Catherine Mary Curtis, 92, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery in Basehor.Mrs. Curtis died Friday, March 17, 2006, in Perry.She was born Sept. 16, 1913, in Bonner Springs, the daughter of Matthew and Katherine Anna Dewitt Elmer.Mrs. Curtis was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tonganoxie.She married Edward Curtis. He died in 1966.Survivors include a son, Mike Curtis, Burlingame; four daughters, Carol Hagan, Eudora, Jeanine Blanck, Perry, Barbara Kramer, Tonganoxie, and Mitzie Gimblet, Lawrence; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Monday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.Online condolences may be sent at www.quisenberryfh.com.
