Roy G. "Glen" Frazier Sr. 1924 - 2006 Williamstown
Services for Roy G. "Glen" Frazier Sr., 82, Williamstown, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will follow in Underwood Cemetery in Williamstown.Mr. Frazier died Friday, June 23, 2006, at his home.He was born Feb. 8, 1924, in Milan, Mo., the son of William Denton and Mary Elizabeth Stephenson Frazier. He lived in the Williamstown and Perry areas for many years.Mr. Frazier was a shovel operator for Hamm's Co. for 32 years. He formerly worked at Jones Mack Furniture Warehouse in Perry. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 101 in Topeka.He married Myrtle Frances McClaren on Sept. 16, 1943, in Brookfield, Mo. She died Dec. 1, 1992.A son, James K., also died earlier.Survivors include a son, Roy G. Jr., Lawrence; a daughter, Deborah Robinson, Lecompton; three brothers, William, Gladstone, Mo., Wesley Q., Lawrence, and Charles, Sunny Meade, Calif., 10 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday before the services. The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice, sent in care of Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa 66066.
