Graveside services for Horace A. Masden, 88, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens in Shawnee. Visitation and an informal service will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the graveside service.Mr. Masden died Saturday, June 17, 2006, in Kansas City, Kan.He was born April 24, 1918, in Wagner, S.D., the son of Frank and Alice Little Masden. He was a longtime resident of Lawrence.He owned and operated Masden Watch Shop and Bible Supplies in downtown Lawrence for more than 40 years.The family suggests memorials to Kansas City Hospice, 9221 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114.D.W.
