Dora Mae Gentry 1925 - 2006

Services for Dora Mae Gentry, 80, Shawnee, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.Miss Gentry died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, in Shawnee.She was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Lawrence, the daughter of Edna Fletcher and William Gentry. She attended Lawrence schools. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence before moving to the Kansas City area.Miss Gentry was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Lawrence.Survivors include a sister, Nila Vaughn Gentry Harmon, Wichita.The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas, Lenexa, sent in care of the mortuary.
