Carl Lee Patterson

Services for Carl Lee Patterson, 77, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Heritage Park Wesleyan Church in Topeka. Burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery southeast of Topeka.Mr. Patterson died Monday, June 12, 2006.He was born on Aug. 20, 1928, in Maple Hill, the son of Harvey Albert and Mary Amanda Burnham Patterson. Mr. Patterson was a building maintenance and air-conditioning supervisor for the Kansas Department of Transportation for 41 years before he retired in 1990. He was a member of Heritage Park Wesleyan Church, where he served as a trustee. He farmed and raised livestock.He married Charlotte Rogene Patterson on July 14, 1948, in Topeka. She died in 2003.Survivors include four sons, Harvey, Arcadia, Calif., Dale, Lecompton, and Rodney and Jim, both of Topeka; a daughter, Rogene Frazee, Arkansas City; a brother, Harvey “Jr.”, Wichita; two sisters, Velma King, Topeka, and Thelma Lindsey, California; 13 grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; 12 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel in Topeka, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.The family suggests memorials to the church, 2131 S.W.
