Helen H. Page-Smith 1929 - 2006
Services for Helen H. Page-Smith, 76, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Page-Smith died Monday, June 5, 2006, in Lawrence.She was born July 16, 1929, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Carl F. and Georgia H. Inverarity Hess. She was raised in the Lawrence area and graduated from Liberty Memorial High School. She then attended Lawrence Business College. She lived in Florida for many years and moved back to Lawrence in January 2006.Survivors include her mother, Georgia H. Hess, Lawrence; and her companion, Tom Danell, of the home.Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care in Douglas County, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
