James Kenneth Lee Sr. 1916 - 2006 Newnan, Ga.
Services for James Kenneth Lee Sr., 89, Mount Dora, Fla., will be at 4 p.m. Friday, July 7, at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan.Mr. Lee died Saturday, May 27, 2006, in Tavares, Fla.He was born Aug. 29, 1916, in Lavonia, Ga., the son of Dock Richard and Bloise Stamps Lee. He moved from Miami to Tavares in 1981 and to Mount Dora in 2005.Mr. Lee worked as a flight engineer for Pan American World Airways and was a member of PanAm Retirement Club. He was a member of the Baptist church.Survivors include his wife, Sara, of the home; a son, James K. Jr., and wife, Peggy Farlow, Birmingham, Ala.; a daughter, Linda S. Lee, Lawrence; five grandchildren, Carla, James K. III, Davis, Lee and James E.; and three great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the Boy Scouts of America or a charity of the donor's choice, sent in care of Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778.
