Jerry Dean Craig 1952 - 2006 Holton
Services for Jerry Dean Craig, 54, Holton, will be at 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Craig home, 203 Kansas Ave. in Holton. Cremation is planned.Mr. Craig died Thursday, July 20, 2006, at the Nemaha County Community Hospital in Seneca after suffering an apparent heart attack at his work.He was born March 23, 1952, in Holton, the son of Bill and Sylvia Cody Craig. He graduated from Holton High school in 1970 and served in the Kansas National Guard Unit in Holton.Mr. Craig worked as a meat cutter for several years and was working as an extruder operator for C.J. Foods Inc. in Bern. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton.He married Terry "Bert" Liebert on Dec. 3, 1982, in Holton. She survives.Other survivors include two sons, Darren J., Collbran, Colo., and Christian D., of the home; a daughter, Carly M. Craig, of the home; two brothers, Jim and Jeff, both of Holton; his mother-in-law, Lois Liebert, Lawrence; and four grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the Children's Education Fund, sent in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton or Denison State Bank.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.chapeloaksfuneralhome.com">www.chapeloaksfuneralhome.com</a>.
