Services for Sylvia Wright-Coe, 85, Topeka, formerly of Osage City, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church in Topeka. Burial will follow in American Cemetery in Osage City.Mrs. Wright-Coe died Thursday, July 20, 2006, at Aldersgate Village in Topeka.She was born June 5, 1921, in Allen, the daughter of Benjamin and Anna Ethel Worley.Mrs. Wright-Coe was a homemaker and worked part-time for Peel's Beauty Supply. She was a member of Stotler Covenant Church in Osage City and Christ Lutheran Church in Topeka. She was active in her church and church committee. She was a president of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Navy Mothers and a past president of Parley Capital Unit 1.She volunteered for the Department of Veteran Affairs of the V.A. Voluntary Service, Partners of Shawnee Salon 241 8 & 40, Stormont-Vail Health Wise 55, American Association of Retired Persons, Silver-Haired Legislature, Jayhawk Navy Mothers Club 83, American War Dads Auxiliary, American Red Cross, Community Action Inc., SNAP Program and LWMS. She also worked for the Shawnee County Election Board and was nominated for the JCPenney Award for Voluntary of the year.Survivors include two daughters, Judy Price and husband Charles, Wakarusa, and Nancy Overholt and husband Floyd, Shawnee; three sons, Alfred Wright Jr., Topeka, Richard Wright, Overbrook, and wife Sherryl, and David Wright and wife Connie, Osage City; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Donald.Her parents died earlier; two husbands, Alfred L. Wright died in 1971, and Dan D. Coe died in 1987; two daughters, Patricia Ann Orender and Wanda Lee France, died earlier; four grandchildren, Charles, Debra, Joyce and Keith, died earlier; a daughter-in-law, Arlene Wright, died earlier; two brothers, Everett W. Worley, and twin brother Cecil J.
