Nathan Hugh O’Neill

Services for Nathan Hugh O’Neill, 21, Winchester, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Winchester Reformed Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery.Mr. O’Neill died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, near Winchester, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and U.S. Highway 16.He was born Aug. 7, 1984, in Merriam, the son of Jay Kenneth and Cynthia Joyce Tweed O’Neill. He was a graduate of Jefferson County North High School in 2002, where he was valedictorian. He was a National Merit Scholar and was active in high school cross country, basketball, track, theater, band and Future Business Leaders of America. He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., Summa Cum Laude with honors in 2002 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in May 2006.Mr. O’Neill worked for the Mennonite Central Committee on Economic Development in Brazil and was to leave Aug. 12, 2006, for his appointment. He was a member of Reformed Presbyterian Church of Winchester.Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Jason K., Indianapolis, and Alexander J., Winchester; paternal grandparents, Gene and Dorothy O’Neill, Winchester; and maternal grandparents, John and Alta Tweed, Winchester. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Barnett-Chapel-Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
