Benjamin McKibbon Pickert 1985 - 2006 Tonganoxie
A memorial Mass for Benjamin McKibbon Pickert, 21, Tonganoxie, will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tonganoxie. A private inurnment will follow.Mr. Pickert died Friday, July 14, 2006, in an automobile accident in Lawrence.He was born March 27, 1985, in Kansas City, Mo., to Jacque and Duane Pickert. Mr. Pickert lived most of his life in Bonner Springs and later moved to Tonganoxie, where he graduated from high school in 2003. He attended Johnson County Community College in Overland Park and planned to transfer to Kansas University in the fall. He worked as a waiter at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Kansas City, Kan.Survivors include his mother, Jacque Egnatic, Tonganoxie; his father, Olathe; a brother, Justin, Chesterfield, Mo.; his maternal grandmother, Lillian Beasley; and his paternal grandparents, Everett and Audrey Pickert.Friends may call one hour before the service Tuesday at the church.The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, Box 993, Tonganoxie, 66086.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.quisenberryfh.com">www.quisenberryfh.com</a>.
