Wanda L. Price 1934 - 2006 Lawrence
Memorial services for Wanda L. Price, 72, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence.Mrs. Price died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.She was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Clearfield, the daughter of Chester and Clara Votaw Baecker.She was a longtime resident of Eudora, graduating from Eudora High School in 1952.She was a homemaker and a leader with the Parent-Teacher Assn. and Cub Scouts. She also was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence.She married Howard Price on June 7, 1953, in Eudora. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Matt Price, Houston; a daughter, Lori MacDonald, Moorestown, N.J.; and four sisters, Ruby Blann and Shirley Lawellin, both of Lawrence, Phyllis Young, Baldwin, and Katherine Woodson, Eudora.The family suggests memorials to the Best Friend Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741, or www.bestfriends.org.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="mailto:www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
