Barbara Jean Singleton
Services for Barbara Jean Singleton, 76, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Singleton died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at her home.Survivors include a son, Micheal Singleton, Lawrence; three daughters, Ronda Walker, Laura Lee McLees and Eleda Elston, all of Lawrence; a brother, Leanard Mayhugh Jr., Chico, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.The family suggests memorials to the Barbara Singleton Memorial Fund, sent in care of the mortuary.E-mail condolences may be sent to <a href="mailto:info@warrenmcelwain.com">info@warrenmcelwain.com</a>, subject: Singleton.
