Mildred Clodfelter 1917 - 2006
No services are planned for Mildred Clodfelter, 88, Lawrence, who died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.She was born June 11, 1917, in Dodge City, the daughter of Scott R. and Lucy Jane Malone Clodfelter. She graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in 1935 and Kansas University in 1941.Ms. Clodfelter worked for Kansas University for 47 years, including 42 with the KU Alumni Association. She retired in 1986 and continued to volunteer at the KU Alumni Association until her death.She was a member of First United Methodist Church, KU Retirees Assn. and University Women's Club.Survivors include two nieces, a nephew and 15 grandnieces and grandnephews.The family suggests memorials to support the Mildred Clodfelter Award.
