Mary Alice Brumback 1957 - 2006
Memorial services for Mary Alice Brumback, 48, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Heartland Community Church. A celebration of life will follow from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Phoenix in Kansas City, Mo. Private family services will be later in Arkansas City, with inurnment in Grandview Cemetery in Arkansas City.Miss Brumback died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at her home.She was born April 5, 1957, in Columbus, the daughter of F.L. "Toby" and Alice Bossi Brumback. She graduated from high school in 1975 in Butler, Mo., and received a journalism degree from Kansas University. She lived and worked in Kansas City, Mo., for many years before she moved to Lawrence.Survivors include two sisters, Sarah Henry, New York, and Susan Lyon, Kansas City, Mo.; and a brother, Rick Brumback, Kansas City, Mo.
