Georgia Anna Gifford Jockman

Funeral services for Georgia Anna Gifford Jockman, 82, Pomona, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Ottawa. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona.Mrs. Jockman died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, in Ottawa.She was born May 19, 1923, in Prune, Neb., the daughter of Harvey and Grace Warner Gifford.Mrs. Jockman lived on a farm west of Pomona with her family for most of her adult life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ottawa for more than 50 years.She married Henry A. Jockman on April 28, 1941, at Scipio. He died Sept. 22, 2005.Survivors include a daughter, Linda Rumford, Ottawa; two brothers, Duane Gifford and Warner Gifford; three sisters, Lorene Rice Thompson, Lois Gebert and Beverly Aragon; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.A daughter, Diann, died earlier.Friends may call at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.The family suggests memorials to Amazing Grace Camp or Gideons for Bibles, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
