Memorial services for Verna Jean Reynolds, 78, Lawrence, will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church. Mrs. Reynolds died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.She was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Gracemont, Okla., the daughter of Elijah and Nina Fraiser Reynolds. She graduated from Haskell Junior College's nursing program and Stormont-Vail Nursing School.Mrs. Reynolds was an obstetrics registered nurse at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for 15 years and retired in 1996. She was a member of First Baptist Church.She married Raymond V. Arkeketa in 1943. He died March 3, 2003. She married Roy W. Moore in 1958. He survives, of Lawrence.A daughter, Margaret Jean Williams, died Feb. 4, 1997.Survivors include two daughters, Anita Arkeketa, Lawrence, and Carol McEldowney, Overland Park; a twin sister, Vera Reynolds Mousseau, Pine Ridge, S.D.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to Billy Graham Ministries, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
