Georgia Anna Jockman 1923 - 2006 Ottawa
Services for Georgia Anna Jockman, 82, Pomona, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Ottawa. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona. Mrs. Jockman died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, in Ottawa.She was born May 19, 1923, in Prune, Neb., the daughter of Harvey and Grace Warner Gifford. She lived in rural Ottawa and rural Pomona.Mrs. Jockman was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for more than 50 years.She married Henry A. Jockman on April 28, 1941, in Scipio. He died Sept. 22, 2005.A daughter, Diann Jockman, died earlier.Survivors include a daughter, Linda Jockman Rumford, Ottawa; two brothers, Duane and Warner Gifford; three sisters, Lorene Rice Thompson, Lois Gebert and Beverly Aragon; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.The family suggests memorials to Amazing Grace Camp or Gideons for Bibles, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
