Robert Wayne Quigley

Inurnment services for Robert Wayne Quigley, 76, Perry, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Newman-Rosehill Cemetery west of Perry. Mr. Quigley died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at his home.He was born July 29, 1929, in Milwaukee, the son of Robert J. and Teddy Quigley. He attended Washburn University and received an associate’s degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.Mr. Quigley served in the U.S. Air Force from 1946 to 1949. He worked as an electrician for the American Motors Co. in Milwaukee for six years. He served as an administrative assistant for the Breakthrough House in Topeka for eight years. He was also a care driver for the Jefferson County Service Organization. He was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge, both in Milwaukee.He married Mary Roberts on April 23, 1929. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two sons, Shawn, Kansas City, Kan., and Kevin, Lecompton; two daughters, Connie Miller, Hinkley, Ohio, and Linda Powalie, Kirtland, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Assn., sent in care of Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O.
