Richard Lounder Lawrence 1925 - 2006
Graveside services for Richard Lounder, 80, Lawrence, were Thursday at Lakeview Cemetery in Cheyenne, Wyo.Mr. Lounder died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community in Lawrence.He was born April 17, 1925, in Vanceboro, Maine, the son of Hartley and Susan Lounder. He moved to Lawrence in 2000 and previously lived in Cheyenne.Mr. Lounder served in the U.S. Navy. He was a quality control supervisor for Boeing Co. aircraft for 30 years.Survivors include his wife, Bertha Lounder, Lawrence; a daughter, Carolynn Bullock, Lawrence; and two sisters, Martha Russell and Jean Crandlemire, both of Maine.A son, Thomas, died in 1969.Wiederspon-Rudomsky Funeral Home in Cheyenne is in charge of arrangements.
