Katherine Farwell 1956 - 2006
Funeral services for Katherine "Kathie" Farwell, 49, Lawrence, will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery.Miss Farwell died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka.She was born Sept. 1, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Russell E. and Doris Brown Farwell. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School.Miss Farwell was a client of Cottonwood Inc., and she lived in Lawrence for 23 years since she moved from Overland Park. She was a member of Lawrence Bible Chapel.Survivors include her father and stepmother, Mary Lyn Farwell; two sisters, Nancy Ramsey, Topeka, Susan Asberry, Hutchinson; two stepsisters, Debi Williams, Vienna, Mo., and Elizabeth Reeder, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and following the service until 7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.The family suggests memorials to Cottonwood Inc., sent in care of the mortuary.E-mail condolences may be sent to <a href="mailto:info@warren-mcelwain.com">info@warren-mcelwain.com</a>, subject: Farwell.
