Robert Milton Penrod 1934 - 2006 McLouth
Services for Robert Milton Penrod, 71, Tonganoxie, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pathway to Life Church in McLouth. Private burial will be in Bonner Springs Cemetery.Mr. Penrod died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at the V.A. Hospital in Leavenworth.He was born May 14, 1934, in Loring, the son of Milton and Alice Fisher Penrod. He graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1952 and Kansas University School of Business in 1956.Mr. Penrod served in the U.S. Navy for three years as a lieutenant commander. He worked as an independent business consultant. He was a member of Pathway to Life Church.He married Jill Nelson on June 17, 1960, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two sons, Darin, Kansas City, Mo., and David, Overbrook; four daughters, Staci Earl, Lawrence, Debby Slifer, Olathe, Kari Penrod, Kansas City, Kan., and Paula Mance, Basehor; two sisters, Virginia Amend, El Dorado, and Alice Belle Yockey, Bend, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.The family suggests memorials to the K.C.
