Lloyd R. Freeman 1934 - 2006 Ottawa
Services for Lloyd R. Freeman, 71, Rio, Wis., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa. Inurnment will be later at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona. Mr. Freeman died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at his home.He was born April 20, 1934, in Finely, Okla., the son of Eb and Elizabeth Standridge Freeman. He was a longtime resident of Pomona and moved to Wisconsin in April 2005.Mr. Freeman was an auto mechanic for more than 40 years.He married Thelma "Irene" Templin on Dec. 21, 1965, in Ottawa. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, George, Rio; a daughter, Dorothy Heller, Rio; two brothers, Elgidee, Tulsa, Okla., and Charles, Parker; a sister, Mary Anttila, St. Joe Beach, Fla.; and three grandchildren.A grandson died earlier.The family suggests memorials to the Lloyd R. Freeman Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
