Dorotha Louise Mathias Prager

Ottawa – Funeral services for Dorotha Louise Mathias Prager, 93, Ottawa, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa. Private family graveside services will follow.Ms. Prager died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at Eudora Nursing Center.She was born Aug. 17, 1913, in Richter, the daughter of John D. Mathias and Dora Detwiler Mathias Weaver. She grew up and attended schools in Carrolton, Mo., and Ottawa. She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1931 and attended Ottawa Business College.Ms. Prager was a homemaker and worked for 13 years for Malotts and Watts Hardware stores from 1962 to 1975. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ottawa for many years. She was also an active member of the Oasis, EHU, Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Ottawa Historical Society and the American Red Cross. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.She married Clarence F. Prager on Nov. 5, 1935, in Lawrence. He died March 14, 1973.Ms. Prager was also preceded in death by her parents.Survivors include two sons, Larry Prager and wife Judy, Augusta, Mo., and Gary Prager and wife Yvette, Lawrence; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and cousins.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday before the services at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
