Justin D. Fujibayashi 1981 - 2006 Valley Falls
Services for Justin D. Fujibayashi, 25, Valley Falls, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Plymouth Congregational Church. Cremation is planned.Mr. Fujibayashi died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., from injuries received in a Dec. 4 car wreck.He was born July 25, 1981, in Evanston, Ill., the son of Carter Akira and Margaret Vincett Fujibayashi.He graduated from Greenwood High School in Greenwood, Ark., in 1999 and attended the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. He received an Associate of Arts degree from Highland Community College and was a senior arts major at Washburn University in Topeka. He will receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts posthumously in May 2007. Mr. Fujibayashi had worked at On Screen Video Store in Oskaloosa, Meriden and Valley Falls since 2005. He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.He married Greta Laurine Forsberg on June 29, 2003, in McLouth. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include his father and stepmother, Tammy Fujibayashi, Greenwood; his mother and stepfather, Jim Woodhull, Greenwood; a son, Henry O., of the home; a brother, Brian, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; a sister, Ginny Fujibayashi, Greenwood; four stepbrothers, Rob Woodhull, Hackett, Ark., Doyle "D.J." Warren, Fort Smith, Ark., and Joshua Warren and Amberae Laster, both of Greenwood; two stepsisters, Kimberly Woodhull, Fort Smith, and Jamie Bridges, Memphis, Tenn.; and his grandparents, Marian Vincett and Wendell Fujibayashi, both of Chicago, Barbara Carter, Fort Smith, and Bob and Gwen Woodhull, Greenwood.The family suggests memorials to Students Against Drunk Driving Scholarship Fund for schools in Jefferson County or Greenwood High School, sent in care of Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O.
