Donna Lee Hill

Baldwin City – Donna Lee Hill, 63, Baldwin City, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Baldwin City. She was born Dec. 12, 1942, in Baldwin City, the daughter of Alfred and Maxine Elliott Harrison. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1960. Mrs. Hill was a florist and artist. She recently restored her murals at the Black Jack Cabin east of Baldwin City. She had been an art vendor at the Baldwin City Maple Leaf Festival and taught classes in floral design and painting.She worked for florists in the Lawrence and Kansas City areas. She also operated a wholesale floral business in Wichita for five years before moving back to Baldwin City in 1985. She later lived in Pomona. Survivors include her mother, of Baldwin City; two sons, Jerry Slavens, Pomona, and Viktor Schultz, Aurora, Colo.; three brothers, Marlin Harrison, Auguanga, Calif., Jay Harrison, Osage City, and Brian Harrison, McLouth; a sister, Beverly Seele, Johnstown, Colo.; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Hill was cremated. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Baldwin City.The family suggests memorial contributions to the Donna Hill Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
