Pattie M. Faler Patterson 1932 - 2006
Graveside services for Pattie M. Faler Patterson, 74, Lawrence, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. Patterson died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at her home.She was born Aug. 8, 1932, at Bartlesville, Okla., the daughter of Lawrence Edgar and Mabel Mae Gragg Riley. She lived most of her life in Lawrence.Mrs. Patterson worked as the executive housekeeper at the Lawrence Holidome for 12 years.She married Weldon Eugene Scott in 1965. They later divorced. She then married James Patterson in June 1997. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Scotty, St. Louis; four daughters, Verna Mae Hicks, Lawrence, Mary Henly, Florence, Delores Verduris, Austin, Texas, and Pam Turner, Mobile, Ala.; a brother, Lawrence Riley, Lawrence; a sister, Dolly Mark, Lawrence; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.A son, David Hicks, died earlier.Friends may call from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Lawrence Funeral Chapel.The family suggests memorials to Douglas County Hospice, sent in care of the funeral chapel.
