Lois Leanne Link 1936 - 2006 Lawrence
Services for Lois Leanne Link, 90, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Link died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.She was born July 7, 1916, in Pratt, the daughter of Loren and Floy Platt Browne. She graduated from Pratt High School in 1934.Mrs. Link was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and United Presbyterian Women.She married Ned W. Link on Dec. 31, 1936, in Pratt. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include two sons, Richard "Rick" Link, Baldwin, and Forest "Skeeter" Link, Lawrence; a daughter, Susan E. Roxburgh, Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Dorothea Meyer, Sawyer; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials to Kansas University Audio-Reader Network, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
